What does the Bible say about Money?

It’s called…

The Parable of The Bags of Gold
Matthew 25:14-30

Merong isang napaka yamang lalaki.

May tatlong servants itong lalaki na ‘to.

Binigyan n’ya ng 5 bags of gold yung 1st servant.

Yung 2nd servant naman 2 bags of gold.

Tapos 1 bag of gold dun sa 3rd servant.

Tapos umalis na s’ya at naglakbay.

Yung 1st servant na may 5 bags of gold, pinalago n’ya kagad yung iniwan sa kanyang ginto.

Nagsimula kagad s’ya ng business at nadoble kagad yung bags of gold n’ya.

Meron na s’yang 10 bags ng ginto.

Yung 2nd servant gumawa.

Kaya nadoble din kagad yung bags of gold n’ya.

1st Servant: “Master you’ve entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more!”

Natuwa yung Master binigyan s’ya ng reward…

Master: “Well done good and faithful servant!

You have been faithful with a few things now I will put you in charge of many things.

Come and share your masters happiness”

Sumunod yung 2nd servant…

2nd Servant:

“Master you’ve entrusted me with two bags of gold.

See, I have gained two more.”

Natuwa ulit yung Master…

Master: “Well done good and faithful servant!

You have been faithful with a few things, now I will put you in charge of many things.

Come and share your masters happiness”

3rd Servant: “Master I was afraid to disappoint you.

So I hid and buried your gold. Here it is back.”

Nagalit at sumigaw yung Master…

Master: “You wicked and lazy servant!

You should have at least put my money in the bank so I would have received it back with interest.”

Whoever is faithful with a little will be trusted with a lot.

You were not faithful with a little so I cannot trust you anymore.”

Kinuha nung Master yung nagiisang bag of gold n’ya, binigay sa 1st servant na merong 10 bags of gold.

Tapos sinabi nung Master…

“For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance.

Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.”

Throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

This is the parable of the bags of gold.

–The End—

What’s the lesson of this story?

Yung 1st & 2nd servant,

…or yung 3rd servant na takot?
